Manuela Meyer
Owner/Certified Groomer since Pawprints' beginning

Since 1990, Manuela's professional credentials have brought her work as a public school demonstrator, dog camp demonstrator, veterinarian assistant, dog wrangling for advertisements and pet grooming competitor which had earned her first and second place ribbons - top winning member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association's first National competition and first place and trophy in the Novice division and second place in the potpourri division, placing above and with the top groomers of the United States and Canada. Manuela frequently attends Grooming Seminars and All Breed Confirmation Shows to further her education on breed clips and to keep updated on new grooming trends/fashions in the industry.

You might have seen Manuela on "Dogs TV" . For two years running, she was the groomer demonstrating grooming on a variety of breeds on this Canadian show.

Not only is dog grooming a career for her, she has also spend her spare time as a dog trainer for competition agility, obedience, flyball, tricks, canine freestyle, k-9 Frisbee, dog sports demonstrations and is a team member of the world renowned Superdogs. Her dogs were well known and have been seen performing on television, have been printed on dog food bags and breed Calendars and have been seen on large advertising banners in the city of Toronto. Manuela believes that it is not only important to know how to correctly groom different breeds whether it is a breed specific grooming or a grooming to the customer's specification, she also knows how to handle dogs with different personalities as well as dealing with active puppies and senior dogs.

Training dogs for all these events helped her better understand and appreciate the different personalities of dogs to be groomed.

Sandra Persaud

Sandra was certified in September 2001. Before her certification, Sandra was hired by us as a brusher/bather. She happily bathed for us for three years. During her employment as a bather, we recognized her patience with the dogs.

Sandra now has an ever growing client list, increasing daily by taking on the overflow of customers. Sandra's patience with the dogs shows on the pets' demeanor once finished grooming. Customer's recognize and appreciate the happy, well groomed dogs that leave our salon with their tail wagging. We are proud to say that Sandra has a large client list all built by referrals from her satisfied customers. Sandra's natural talents have brought her many happy loyal customers.
